She and her husband had rented a car and were leaving shortly. We went along. They were both school teachers living and teaching in Dubai. They are from Australia.
We had quite the adventure -- first the grocery store and then after one shortcut we ended up in the middle of the desert at a dead end of the road. Our short cut took much longer than anticipated. However, we did get to Wadi Musa which is the town at the gateway to Petra (one of the seven wonders of the world).
In Wadi Musa we found a nice hotel Al Rashid. We settled in last night early to get ready for our adventure today.
